Sherman L. McCool
Sherman L. McCool, 78, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, in Pea Ridge, Ark. He was born in Benton County, Ark., on Aug. 17, 1942, to Sterlon I. McCool and Wanda Goodnight McCool.
He graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 1960. He settled and raised his family surrounded by friends in the community. He worked for Bob Maloney Ford until he retired. He most enjoyed his grandchildren and the Razorbacks. He attended Whittenburg Church in Pineville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Corn McCool; a daughter, Delaina Saylor; a brother, Evan McCool; and his parents.
Survivors are two daughters, Deborah Palarino (Nicholas) of Colorado Springs and Deidre Hendricks of Rogers; grandchildren, Riley Vanlaningham of Pea Ridge, Lauren and Nathan Palarino of Colorado Springs, Hunter and Lily Hendricks of Rogers and Austin Jared Saylor of Centerton; and his sister, Barbara Decker of Garfield.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
