Pea Ridge Optimist Club
The Third Thursday Community Update will feature school superintendent Rick Neal this week.
The meeting is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, in the Pea Ridge Library Community Room and is open to the public.
September's speaker will be Kate Lonberger from the Girl Scouts.
In other club news, the group is collecting T-shirts from area colleges and trade schools for the Pea Ridge Academy. This is in support of a new initiative to increase exposure to life after high school. To donate a shirt, contact Sandy Lasater at 479-903-6795.
