FFA holds Ice Cream social

The Pea Ridge FFA Chapter has been very busy recently.

Their 27th annual Ice Cream social was held at the City Park Monday, Sept. 19.

This was the first meeting of the year for all members to attend. All officers attended and performed the opening ceremonies, and finished the night with homemade ice cream. The Ice Cream social is a tradition for Pea Ridge, and is loved and looked forward to by members and parents.

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, members of the Chapter volunteered at the circus by parking cars. There were lots of members, specifically the eighth-graders, who showed up to help.

The Pea Ridge FFA Chapter is always willing to help out their friends, family, and community whenever it's needed. Last week was also the end of the fall fundraiser. This fundraiser raises lots of money for the FFA. The money raised is used completely on activities for members throughout the year and other things that members might need.
