10:52 p.m. Dispatched to Mary Phelps Drive for a report of gun shots. The caller stated the neighbor has been drinking and fired off a couple shots from a handgun. Upon arrival, police found a male in his vehicle with a loaded semi automatic handgun. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Aaron Hardin, 31, of Pea Ridge had fired three to four shots from his handgun into the ground. Hardin was checked for signs of intoxication, arrested and transported to the Benton County Jail where he was booked in on charges of Disorderly Conduct and discharging a firearm in city limits. The officer located the handgun and placed it into evidence for safe keeping.
