— Granny’s Quilts of Love

Granny’s Quilts of Love met 9:30 a.m. Aug. 21, at Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge with 21 members present.

The ninth annual Dinner and Auction was held Aug. 25 at Pea Ridge High School Cafeteria and were were very successful. Club members thank all the vendors for their generous donations to make the auction a big success. A special “thank you” to the community and surrounding areas for their generous supportand without all of you, none of this could happen.

Congratulations to Jim Henson, the winner of the 59” TV, and to Tiffany Clark, the winner of the stainless steel, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer.

Club members have made over 14,000 quilts for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and will be able to continue making more quilts with the money from our fundraiser.

The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 18, at Mt. Vernon PresbyterianChurch in Pea Ridge, 1300 N. Davis.

Sugar Creek Chapter of the Ozark Society
